About a Breast Ahead

After having a mammogram and biopsy, I received the life-altering news: I had breast cancer. That moment in March of 2024 changed everything.

In consultations with my doctor and surgeon, we decided that the best path forward included a double mastectomy and reconstruction, followed by chemotherapy and radiation. From that point on, I was propelled into a whirlwind of appointments, medical jargon, advice to sift through, and supportive products I’d need along the way. Feeling overwhelmed, I dove in headfirst organizing everything and taking it step by step.

Since then, several of my friends have faced the same diagnosis and the same uphill battle. That’s when I realized my purpose: to make this journey easier for others. Founded with a passion for helping those affected by breast cancer, A Breast Ahead aims to provide the essentials and guidance you need, before you’re even looking - helping to keep you ahead of the curve and empowering you in your fight and promote well-being.
